Eka Names Wah Chu as Vice President, Global Services and Support

New executive position created to support record growth in new customers in the last 18 months.

 

 

Eka Software Solutions, the leading global provider of Smart Commodity Management software solutions, announced today that Wah Chu has been appointed Vice President, Global Services and Support. In this newly created executive position, Mr. Chu is responsible for leading Eka’s customer-facing delivery and support operations around the world.

 

The past year delivered banner business growth for Eka. The company added three new offices, grew the number of employees to over 400 people, and added 25 new clients across all regions in the last 18 months. During the last five years, Eka has enjoyed average annual growth rate in revenue of 43%. Eka was recently named to the Inc. 500 List of Fastest Growing Companies.

Mr. Chu has a strong record of leading customer-facing operations in growing enterprise software companies. For the past four years, Mr. Chu was Chief Customer Officer and Senior Vice President at Triple Point Technology. Prior to Triple Point Technology, Mr. Chu was Vice President of Client Services at Netkey where he was accountable for 40% of the company’s revenue. Previously, he was a Managing Director at KPMG Consulting and held several Senior Service Management positions at Hyperion Solutions. Mr. Chu earned a Masters of Business Administration degree in corporate finance from New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in operations research from Cornell University. Additionally, he also holds three software development patents.
